Jaredfromsubway.eth loses $7.5 million in fake trade exploit

Ethereum's most notorious predator just became the prey. The sandwich bot known as Jaredfromsubway.eth, famous for front-running retail traders, lost $7.5 million after an attacker turned the bot's own logic against it. Security firm Blockaid confirmed the drain targeted the automated system's approval process. The hacker tricked the bot into signing off on bogus trading routes, creating a backdoor to its wallet. Once the trap was set, the exploiter siphoned a mix of WETH, USDC, and USDT in a series of rapid-fire transactions. It's a heavy blow for a bot that once dominated gas usage on the network through sheer aggression. While the bot's operator hasn't issued a statement, the on-chain data shows a massive hole in its treasury where millions in stolen slippage used to sit. The hunter is now the one being dissected by security researchers. Will this exploit force the sandwich king to rewrite its code, or is the reign of automated MEV extraction finally hitting its limit?
